BioI'm 31, female, and married. I discovered Live Journal through my interest and borderline obsession with the Prison Break fandom. At the end of a 5-year run of obsessing over Alias, I needed somewhere to focus that energy. I'm generally new to the world of online journals and blogs so I'm just trying to figure this whole thing out.
Outside of the worldwide web, I live a normal-ish and sometimes fairly bizarre life. The normal side is that I'm a homeowner with a darling husband, 2 cats, and more home related projects than I can count. On the bizarre side, I work in the professional world of ballet. It is odd becasue most people believe that means I go to school or study ballet, as opposed to going to work, rehearsing, performing on stange and earning a paycheck. Isn't that what "professional" means? So it is in this way, that I live on the fringes of society, ghosting about and doing a job that most people don't even realize exists. But I'm also working in the performing arts, doing something I love and living a bit of a dream, so it is at least as amazing as it is strange.
I grew up in Northern California, spending summers studying on the East coast in the lovely city of Boston. My performing career has taken me all over the United States, from New York City and Boston to New Orleans, Monterey California, and every small town in between. I've also toured to Europe once and as my good luck would have it, married a European, so time with my in-laws is spent in Spain, Portugal, and France so far.
I also enjoy writing and delve a bit into reading and at least trying to write fan fiction.
